Kripa Thapa

Biography

Kripa Thapa, a Geospatial Solutions Specialist at the EERC, supports geographic information system data development, spatial analysis, and data visualization across a variety of energy and environmental research projects, with emphases on subsurface research and development on oil and gas industry and other geology-related projects. Thapa holds an M.S. degree in Geography from the University of Utah and a B.S. degree in Environmental Sciences from Kathmandu University, Nepal. Previously, Thapa served as a Desktop Support Analyst at the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Thapa’s principal areas of interest and expertise include advanced mapping solutions, GeoAI, programming, automation, and spatial analytics.
